Could this just be platonic?

I've known this girl for about six months. A mutual friend of this girl and I (whom she considers a VERY close friend) was eating lunch with her. He asked her how we met. She said that it was in a cl (college) we had together. She giggled and said the reason she started talking to me was because she thought I was cute, and then realized I had a great personality but then told him not to tell me this. Your thoughts?
