Can System Restore reverse the renewal of SID in a laptop with Windows 7 OS?

I'm gonna renew my SID in my laptop with Windows 7 as an OS. I was just weary that it might crash my system. So, I was wondering if a system restore could reverse it, in case there's trouble. Can I use NewSid.exe for Windows 7??
