Why don't we talk anymore?... (ridiculously long, I'm sorry.)?

I hate to break it to you, but maybe he's just become more conceited because of his 'status.' You mentioned that he is quite popular, although he didn't realize it before, maybe now he does. Unfortunately, some people do change a lot when they realize some qualities they have that they never realized they had before. I understand that you miss him, and I have gone through a similar ordeal when I was your age. I know you've had a crush on this guy for a long time, but I find that crushes this long is sometimes not because you actually like them, but because you've become accustomed to thinking you like this person. I bet you that if you two continue to grow apart, you will begin to open your heart to other guys as well. You seem like a nice person, but if you really want to be close to him again, I guess you can always make yourself somehow more popular to fit in with his crowd. However, I wouldn't suggest that. If he really likes you, he will eventually come around Good luck :)
