Cl2(g)+ 2OH(aq) --> ClO-(aq)+ Cl-(aq)+ H2O(l) HELP?

it is a redox reaction because the oxidation number for Cl is increasin and decreasing. Cl2 has an oxidation number of 0 and in ClO- the oxidation number for Cl is 1. This is an oxidation. While Cl- has an oxidation number of -1. This is a reduction. Therefore this reaction is a redox.
